Day 2: Inverness to Edinburgh
After breakfast, begin with a visit to Culloden Battlefield, where the final Jacobite battle was fought in 1746 — a moving site that offers powerful insight into Scottish history. Travel west to Fort Augustus, where the Caledonian Canal meets the legendary Loch Ness, before continuing south to Fort William for lunch beneath Ben Nevis, the highest mountain in the UK. From here, journey into the dramatic valley of Glencoe, famous for the Three Sisters mountain range, where breathtaking scenery combines with powerful history. Pass the tranquil waters of Loch Tulla before arriving in Killin, where the Falls of Dochart cascade through the village centre.
