Stuart is a true human dynamo — full of energy, endlessly positive, and always ready to go the extra mile to make sure every guest has an unforgettable experience. With his infectious enthusiasm and genuine love for people, Stuart brings a special spark to every tour he leads.
Originally from Aberdeen in the north east of Scotland, Stuart has enjoyed life on both sides of the country, having also lived in Glasgow before settling in Edinburgh with his wife of nearly 30 years. Together, they raised their two sons in the capital, a city Stuart now proudly calls home.
Before stepping into the world of tour guiding, Stuart built a successful career in hospitality, working across operational, central, and commercial roles. That background serves him brilliantly in what he fondly describes as his role as an ambassador for Scotland — combining professional polish with a natural gift for making people feel welcome and well looked after.
His love of Caledonia runs deep. From misty lochs and dramatic glens to historic castles and grand palaces, Stuart delights in sharing the very best of Scotland with his guests, always with a story to tell and a smile to match.
When he’s not out on the road, Stuart’s heart belongs to his two rescue greyhounds, who keep him just as active off tour as he is on it. Whether guiding through the Highlands or chatting over a cup of tea, Stuart’s warmth, energy, and passion for Scotland shine through in everything he does.
