Chris is a busy gent in the best possible way. Currently studying paramedicine full time at university, he somehow still finds time to pack his life with adventure — from ski instructing and patrolling to hiking, paddling, and exploring the outdoors at every opportunity.
Passionate about food, Scotland, and people, Chris brings a brilliant mix of energy and insight to his role as a tour guide. Over the years, he’s worked in a wide range of roles that have taken him all over the country, giving him an incredible depth of local knowledge and a real understanding of what makes each corner of Scotland special.
A huge walker and natural trail expert, Chris knows most of Scotland’s hill walks and hiking routes inside out. In fact, many guides turn to him for advice when planning routes and outdoor adventures. Whether it’s a gentle countryside stroll or a more challenging Highland hike, his knowledge of the landscape adds an extra layer of confidence and care to every tour.
Before beginning his journey into paramedicine, Chris also ran his own bike shop and sandwich shop, and spent time working and travelling across the UK. Those experiences shaped his easy-going, people-first approach — making him just as comfortable chatting over lunch as he is leading guests through dramatic scenery.
With Chris as your guide, you’re in the company of someone who truly lives and breathes the outdoors, loves sharing Scotland, and brings genuine enthusiasm to every experience.
